Q: Who gets hair extensions?
A: Anyone who is looking to add length, fullness, or just something funky. Some restrictions apply though, so it’s best to have a consultation to see if they are right for you.
Q: Do I need a consultation?
A: Yes. It is necessary to discuss what your goals are and whether or not it is achievable. At the consultation we will determine how much hair is needed, you will be quoted a price, and an appointment will be set up for application.
Q: Is the hair in stock at the salon?
A: While I do keep some funky colors on hand, most hair is ordered specifically for each client.
Q: Can I re-use the extensions more than once?
A: No. Since the bond is destroyed upon removal, the extensions are not re-useable.
Q: Why do I need to remove them and replace with another set?
A: Our hair grows approximately ¼ inch a month. The keratin bond is attached to the hair and stays in place. As your hair grows, the bond gets further away from the scalp and may eventually be seen. Some extension loss is normal, so to keep your extensions looking fabulous, it’s best to remove a set after about four months and get a new set.

Q: Will the extensions damage my hair?
A: Assuming proper application, the responsibility is now passed on to you. If you take care of your extensions properly, you should have little to no damage. Care of extensions will be explained in your consultation. I also suggest that you see the same stylist for removal, and do not attempt to take them out yourself. Proper removal is an art.
Q: How long does it take?
A: Application time varies depending on how much hair is being applied. A full set usually takes 5 to 6 hours. A few accent pieces can take just minutes.
Q: How much does it usually cost?
A: The price of hair extensions vary depending on what you are looking for. To add some colored pieces to the front can be as little as $100. A full head of lengthening usually runs from $600 to $900 depending on how much hair you have to start with.
